Matthew C. Wilson is Of Counsel with Deasey, Mahoney & Valentini, Ltd. He is a seasoned defense trial attorney who has developed an uncompromising reputation for the successful representation of clients in a broad range of complex and catastrophic litigation.
Matt currently focuses his practice on representing clients in general liability claims including commercial premises liability, products liability, construction accidents and defects, automotive/transportation liability, liquor liability and professional liability. His representative clients have included automobile manufacturers and dealers, consumer appliance manufacturers, hospitals, physicians, nurses, shopping centers, daycare centers, construction companies and commercial landlords and businesses.
Matt recognizes that intricate problems require comprehensive solutions and he tailors his approach to each legal action with the ability to narrow down complex issues and prepare for litigation by evaluating the various legal positions integral to his success as a litigator. In addition to the aggressive representation and successful defense of his clients at trial, Matt is also highly skilled in resolving litigation through alternative dispute resolution.
Matt graduated from Dickinson College in 1991 with a degree in political science. Before law school he worked for the American Red Cross where he was responsible for the distribution of lifesaving blood products throughout the Tri-State Region. He graduated from Widener University Delaware Law School in 1996. While in law school he was a member of the Law Review – Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, a research assistant to Professor Geoffrey Moulton and an intern with the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office.
