Edward (“Ted”) is an Associate at Deasey, Mahoney & Valentini, Ltd. He received his B.A. from the University of Vermont and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law.

Ted is an experienced litigator, with over a decade of experience defending individuals and businesses in lawsuits involving claims arising out of personal injuries, property damage, contractual damages, and extra-contractual damages. Ted’s practice focuses primarily on disputes involving construction accidents and construction defects. However, he also has considerable experience handling matters involving premises liability, professional liability, liquor liability, and environmental liability. Ted has represented clients in all phases of litigation within state and federal courts throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

In August of 2021, Ted attended a week-long course relating to the operation of construction cranes and successfully passed a series of examinations administered on behalf of the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO). Since then, he has assisted in the defense of the firm’s crane company clients in matters involving catastrophic injuries and property damage throughout the United States. In addition to his legal practice, Ted regularly sits as an arbitrator for the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia County.

Ted lives in Upper Providence Township, Pennsylvania (Delaware County), where he resides with his wife Maureen, and their two children—TJ and Claire. When not advocating on behalf of his clients, Ted enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing soccer and golf, and snowboarding.
