DMV Secures Defense Verdict at Trial

On October 5, 2017, DMV Partners Henri Marcel and Rufus A. Jennings obtained a complete defense verdict from a Philadelphia Common Pleas jury in the matter of Boyer v. Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge No. 5.  It took the jury less than three hours to return a verdict that the FOP had not engaged in any act of bad faith during the handling of a grievance of the plaintiff’s termination from the Philadelphia Police Department.  The plaintiff had alleged claims for Breach of Duty of Fair Representation.
