William C. Stubits joined the firm of Deasey, Mahoney & Valentini, Ltd. in 2020 bringing with him over 35 years of civil litigation experience.
Bill is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Villanova Law School. He was formerly a partner at German, Gallagher & Murtagh where he handled a wide array of cases but concentrated in defense of product liability litigation.
Bill has defended some of the largest product manufacturers and suppliers in the world including providers of power tools, heavy construction equipment, medical devices, electrical utility equipment, industrial doors, and dietary supplements. He has also served as defense counsel for corporations, municipalities and franchisees in various matters including claims involving premises liability, fire losses, building collapses, construction, environmental issues and Civil Rights cases.
Bill is currently defending clients in Dram Shop, products liability and sexual abuse litigation. Although based in Philadelphia County, he has represented clients in both State and Federal Courts throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, including several cases in and around Pittsburgh and Harrisburg.
